Hello all, and welcome to my blog! I'm so happy to have you here. Please, make yourself at home. Whether you're sitting there with a bottle of wine, water, or Hennessy, I hope that you find something in this blog that you like or at the very least makes you think. Now let's get to it.

Are you happy? Do you know it? Did you clap your hands? Alright, that was my poor attempt at a joke, but I'm being completely serious. Are you happy? If so, how do you know it? How do you know that you're truly happy and not just content? How similar or different are your definitions of content, happy and joyous? If you're not happy, what would make you most happy? These are all questions that I found myself asking today. I ventured, as I often do, to Buzzfeed.com and stumbled upon an article called "12 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Happiness". It included things like whether happy people are prone to doing similar things or if people do those similar things to achieve happiness, attractive and taller people being happier than us common folk, and proven studies that show that some people are actually born happy. After reading the article and asking myself a flurry of questions. I came upon my answers. I won't disclose those answers here, but I want you who is reading this blog post to spend some time reflecting on your happiness. If reading the Buzzfeed article helps to open your train of thought, go for it. In the end, I just want you to come upon your own answers and find your own happiness.

Yours in thought,
AF
